Oral / poster / symposium abstract submission information

Abstract submission must be made via the presentation portal and in the correct .doc or .docx format using the template supplied here.

Incorrectly formatted abstracts will not be considered for review, and you will be asked to resubmit.

The abstract text should be limited to 300 words (this applies to the main body of the abstract only and excludes the abstract title, authors, affiliations and references).

Oral presentations will be 15-20 minutes in total (including question time).

Symposium will be a combined submission of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 individual presentations submitted by one author, on behalf of the group, under one common theme. The allocated time is from 60 to 90 minutes.

Posters will be viewed on-site at the conference venue, via printed poster displays and online in the virtual conference platform and the conference app.

The presenting author must check eligibility for prizes prior to submission, and the Organising Committee may remove papers from prize consideration should authors not be eligible, without prior notice.

Oral and poster presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts and the reviewer’s decision is final.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 30 June 2024.

All accepted presenting authors, must pay and register for the conference, whether on-site in Wellington or virtually. If you are unable to travel to the conference to present your talk or poster in person, there will be virtual presentation options available, which will be confirmed to you, when the abstract submission review process has been completed and your abstract has been accepted for presentation.
