On behalf of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, we warmly invite you to join us at the RANZCP 2024 New Zealand Conference, to be held at the InterContinental Hotel Wellington, New Zealand, September 18-20 2024.

Situated in the lower North Island, but at the centre of New Zealand, you’ll find Wellington, a region with much to offer. Nestled between green hills and a sparkling harbour, the city is full of things just waiting to be discovered.

Wellington is infamously regarded as the windiest capital in the world, and is currently set to be an important scene in the development of politics and public service in New Zealand. The whakataukī (proverb) “Inā tere ngā kapua, he hau kei muri“ (when the clouds move, there is wind behind them) speaks to this and is the theme for this year's conference.

Connected by air to all major and regional New Zealand and Australian east coast destinations, excellent ferry connections to the South Island and good road and rail links to the North Island, Wellington is an accessible destination for local and international guests.

The call for pre-conference workshop and free paper abstracts submission is now open. Early bird registration opens on May 15. You can stay updated by checking our website, and to express your interest in receiving more details on the conference as it becomes available, please click the button below.

Ka kite anō - We are looking forward to seeing you in Wellington in September.
